Is it really possible to stop binge eating or other forms of overeating on my own without face-to-face consultation with a therapist ?
Absolutely! Individual therapy is fantastic and I don't recommend stopping your therapy sessions if you are in it, but if you don't have access to therapy sessions , or are on a waiting list or if you simply want to try stopping on your own, this targeted self-guided program will help you heal. In fact it has been shown through various studies that self-guided programs has the same level of effectiveness as more traditional programs
What model is your program based on?
My program uses a combination of psychotherapy techniques but is mainly based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) , with an addition of .....
What is DBT?
I am bulimic, would this be a suitable program for me?
It would be a great complement to your treatment program. However, ALL eating disorders including bulimia are life-threatening illnesses and because of this, you need to be under the care of your doctor and treatment team as it requires additional medical monitoring. This program alone would be not be sufficient.
It looks like this program is a lot of work and a lot of information-i don't have time to do all this
I agree there is quite a lot to go through. However, I wanted to make sure my program is thorough enough to not only stop your binge-eating behavior but also address the root causes and prevent future relapses. It is a self-guided program and it is yours for life, so you can take as long as you want with it. There is no rush-take your time to practise the skills taught.
How long will i have access to the materials for?

Yes! I see it all the time both online and in person.
Does the program come with a meal plan?
Yes, there is a meal plan structure for guidance. However, bear in mind that everyone has different nutritional requirements. Premium members will receive nutritional advice tailored to their needs but other members can also choose to have more in-depth guidance at a small additional charge.
will I lose weight following the program?
Many people lose weight whilst following the program because they have dramatically reduced the number of binge-eating episodes. The meal plan given will also leave you with a small calorie deficit to make weight loss sustainable. However, the primary goal of this program is to help you stop overeating, which I consider one of the most important steps to sustainable weight loss in the long-term.
Do i have to buy shakes, special food or other supplements?
No! My goal is to help you learn skills that will help you lose weight in the long term. None of these diet supplements are designed to be used for an extended period of time.
Do i have to exercise? what if I am unable to exercise?
No, you do not have to exercise, although I have provided you with a few workout routines and suggestions. The main purpose of this program is to help you stop binge eating or other forms of overeating and help you lose weight in a sustainable manner.
Can men do this program?
Absolutely! Both men and women suffer from binge-eating and the skills are in the program are suitable for everyone.
What can I expect when i sign up? what is the format like?
You will receive your login details within 48 hours and there is an induction module explaining how the program works and there will also be materials guiding you to set yourself up for success.

Do i have to do the program consecutively or can i take a break?
Practice is key to success, so if you feel you need more time to master a skill, take more time before moving on.
Each lesson builds on previous skills, so I suggest you take your time to go through the lessons.

What is an email consultation?
Premium members will receive email consultation. Email consultation is where you will be guided to explore areas in your life that has caused distress and has led to weight gain in the first place. Through these sessions, you will be guided using specially formulated worksheets and questions tailored to you and your needs to increase motivation, explore and stop self-sabotaging behavior to help you maximize your weight loss.
We may need to email back and forth for each session so that we can explore issues in detail and work towards your goal.

When can i expect a response?
